Cari Amici, Soci e Colleghi!                                                     [please scroll down for English version]

Dopo il successo del Congresso dello scorso 8 e 9 Maggio 2014, le gratificanti ed attive partecipazioni alla Convention della National Space Society tenutasi a Los Angeles ed alla Fast Forward Tele-Conference, le tante adesioni ed i molti simpatizzanti, il progetto di Space Renaissance guarda al futuro con grande slancio ed ottimismo, sperando di poter realizzare quanto prefissato anche grazie al contributo di ciascuno di noi.

A questo proposito vogliamo ringraziare Omar Gatti che con la sua generosa donazione ci ha stupiti ed emozionati, offrendo un contributo significativo all’associazione, ed invitando noi tutti ad una riflessione sul significato, forse dimenticato ma ancora piu’ importante in questi tempi di crisi epocale, di credere in un progetto ed essere fonte di ispirazione, che è la nostra linfa vitale.

Space Renaissance nasce da profonde considerazioni sul futuro dell’Umanità. Ogni socio nel mondo contribuisce allo sviluppo della Vision con apporti di idee, progetti, conferenze, dibattiti e qualsiasi cosa serva al coinvolgimento ed alla condivisione.

Space Renaissance Italia ha scelto di concentrare il grosso dei suoi contributi sulla componente Turismo Spaziale attraverso progetti quali l’Hyplane. Riteniamo infatti che questo sia l’aspetto più vicino al mondo d’oggi, e che possa però diventare un ponte ideale per quello che necessita per l’espansione della Civiltà nello Spazio. Il nostro piano strategico si muove su più fronti, da quello filosofico ed educativo, a quello artistico e musicale,  a quello tecnologico ed ingegneristico, al fine di sensibilizzare chi ancora si sente lontano, o forse solo appena incuriosito, da quella che invece è la necessità di un destino proteso oltre i confini dalla nostra madre Terra.

Tutti i progetti presentati al Congresso potranno trovare  la loro collocazione ed attuazione solo attraverso il lavoro costante di tutti i soci e simpatizzanti, con la continuità nella fiducia offerta e ricevuta,  per arrivare a dire a gran voce:

“Per aspera ….ad Astra !”

Sperando in un futuro “Ad sidera semper!”

Dear Friends, Members and Colleagues,

After the success of the Congress last May 8th and 9th, the rewarding and active participations to the National Space Society’ Convention, held in Los Angeles, and to the Fast Forward Tele-Conference, the many subscriptions and the many supporters, the Space Renaissance’ project  looks forward with great enthusiasm and optimism, hoping to achieve the set goals thanks to the contribution of each-one of us.

In this regard, we wish to thank Omar Gatti, that amazed and excited us by his generous donation, making a significant contribution to the association, and inviting the all of us to reflect on the meaning, perhaps forgotten, but even more important in these times of epochal crisis, to believe in a project and to be a source of inspiration, which is our lifeblood.

Space Renaissance was born from deep considerations about the future of Humanity. Each member in the world contributes to the development of the Vision providing ideas, projects, conferences, debates and whatever it takes to the involvement and sharing.

Space Renaissance Italy decided to concentrate the bigger part of its contributions on Space Tourism through projects such as Hyplane, because we feel this is the closest to the today’ world, but it can become a bridge to the needs of the expansion of Civilization into Space. Our strategic plan is moving on several fronts, from philosophy and education, to arts and music, to technology and engineering, in order to sensitize those who still feel far away, or maybe only just intrigued by what are the needs of a destiny stretched beyond the boundaries of our mother Earth.

All projects submitted to the Congress will be able to find their route to implementation only through the constant work of all our members and supporters, with the confidence continuously offered and received, to get to say in a loud voice:

“Per aspera ad Astra ….!”

Hoping for a future ” Ad sidera semper!”
