The development of civilian astronautics promises plenty of new employment and allows the final and lasting exit from global crisis

SR ITALIA – Newsletter 01.03.2014 - Noi di SPACE RENAISSANCE abbiamo ben chiari pochi e semplici concetti: SENZA SVILUPPO INDUSTRIALE NON C’È CRESCITA, e senza crescita la civiltà muore. L’unico modo di ricominciare davvero a crescere, al di là di ripresine congiunturali più o meno lunghe, è avviare l’era dell’espansione dell’uomo oltre l’atmosfera terrestre, avviare, la rivoluzione industriale dell’astronautica civile, che può invertire velocemente la crisi, dando inizio ad una stagione di sviluppo a due cifre, creando milioni di nuovi posti di lavoro di alto e medio profilo, sia nello spazio che a terra. La chiave che può aprire la cornucopia di uno sviluppo virtualmente illimitato, è l’investimento nel turismo spaziale, a partire da quello sub-orbitale.

We at SPACE RENAISSANCE have very few clear and simple concepts: THERE’S NO GROWTH WITHOUT INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT, and without growth the civilization dies. The only way to really re-start growing up, beyond more or less short term economic recoveries, is to bootsrap the age of the human expansion over the Earth’s atmosphere. We therefore propose a strong strategy, aiming definitely upward. Keeping the money disinvested, waiting for better times it is useless: those money will be burned , and the possibility of regeneration will be lower and lower. To avoid this awful scenario, the only way is to finally trigger the industrial revolution of civilian astronautics, which can quickly reverse the crisis, starting a season of double-digit growth, not only in the recently emerged countries, creating millions of new high and medium profile jobs, both in space and on ground. How ? The input key, which can open the cornucopia of a virtually unlimited development, is investing in space tourism, starting from sub-orbital. This business should be supported by governments with friendly fiscal policies. A pool of investment funds collection should be created as well, specifically targeted to the development of civilian astronautics.
